About Us

Moments to cherish forever, Dance 4 Your Day will provide you an experience full of love, laughter, and dance. Learning a first dance will expose tasks you and your partner can explore and conquer together, as well as receiving beyond more than a sublime dance for your special day. One on one private lessons will allow a safe space for growth and creativity between your partner and instructor to produce the best results. Dance 4 Your Day thrives on multiple platforms in dance styles, abilities and can work within time frames whether it is 3 months before the wedding or even 3 days! Dance 4 Your Day’s affable journey natures your wishes and the magical wedding flow we all desire.

Meet Erica

Erica has a passion for LOVE and teaching and is honoured to be contributing to the beginnings of your marital journal. Erica has received an Advanced Diploma in the Performing Arts and Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the Royal Academy of Dance. Along with 18years dance experience, Erica has taught all styles and ages and is always up to a challenge. Her credits include dancing back up for Delta Goodrem, The Veronicas, featured on The Voice, Dance Boss, TV advertisements, and performed Bollywood dance for weddings with Bollywood Sensations. She has also performed with the Imperial Russian Ballet dancing in The Nutcracker. Erica has additionally attained a Bachelor in Psychological Science and Exercise Sports Science, in which she incorporates in her teachings to provide optimal service. 

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Each lesson is 50 to 60 minutes long and is scheduled around mine and your availability. It should be noted that studio hire fee ($20) differentiates due to location and will be added to payment

    At the end of each lesson, we video record what you have learnt in order for couples to take home and practice before their next lesson. 

  • Rescheduling is permitted 5-7 days prior to the scheduled lesson. Due to studio hire fee, cancellations that are made within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson will result a 50% charge.

    Any cancellation made 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson will result in 100% charge.

  • Comfortable clothing/activewear and shoes are recommended, especially those that are similar to what you’ll wear on your wedding day.

    Grooms: Do a squat test in your tailored wedding pants!

    Brides: Bring a replicate of your bridal gown such skirt or dress for later lessons.

    Wedding shoes or similar to are recommended.

  • It is recommended to have a minimum of 3 lessons to create a 3 minute dance. 

  • It's recommended to start your wedding dance lessons at least 2 to 3 months before your wedding. This gives you plenty of time to learn the steps, practice, and feel confident. Starting earlier is better if you want to work on more complicated choreography or learn several dances.

  • Not at all! Wedding dance lessons are designed for all levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, the instructor will tailor the lessons to your skill level. Many couples start with no dance experience and feel confident by their wedding day.
